Welp, just saw a video of Harry Reid speaking on the senate floor telling us how all the stories of people having issues with Obamacare are untrue. According to him, nobody has had their insurance cancelled and now they cant afford their full priced medication, nobody is paying higher premiums, nobody is having issues where they cant get in to see their doctor cause they aren’t taking Obamacare patients, nobody has signed up and used the exchanges and their new insurance company has no record of them, and no doctors have had their name and office added to the list of providers without their consent. Nope, none of it is true. Harry says it’s all lies.
Seeing him stand there and say all this reminded me of Baghdad Bob who back during the Iraqi war was the Information Minister and got on TV and told the Iraqi citizens that they were not really being invaded and they would destroy the American Infidels, all while explosions and tanks were going off behind him. He said things like, “There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!”, “I blame Al-Jazeera – they are marketing for the Americans!”, and “They’re not even [within] 100 miles [of Baghdad]. They are not in any place. They hold no place in Iraq. This is an illusion … they are trying to sell to the others an illusion.”
